Background
This is a Concept Project, not a commissioned or executed campaign. It explores the entry barriers of university sports through a content lens.
The challenge
New audiences lack the history, player relationships and season context that existing fans already know. A result-only channel gives them little reason to return.
Audience and insight
The primary audience is young sports followers who do not yet know university teams or players. They need one clear reason to decide who—and why—to follow before they need a complete archive.
Strategy
Content follows four stages: discovery, understanding, attachment and return. Short player cards create discovery; team stories and pre/post-game field notes deepen the relationship.
Execution and role
I defined the problem, studied the fan perspective and designed the content journey. No live campaign has been executed.
Outcome, limits and next step
The current output is a strategy draft. There are no performance results or client claims. A future pilot would begin with potential-fan interviews and a two-week content test.
Learning
Useful fan content does more than transfer information—it makes the next action feel natural.
